Yanira Elias is born in El Salvador in 1973. She has finished her studies as an architect in San Salvador in 1999. During her university studies starts her expressive research in surrealistic painting.

After that, in 2001 obtains from the Mexican government a grand for studies called “Programme of permanence for an artistic realisation” that presents a research on “ Surrealism and Mexican Fantastic Art”. Furthermore, in 2006 obtains a B.A. in “Visual Arts” from the Free Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, Italy. She has participate in different exhibitions either group and solo not only in El Salvador but also in Europe.
